Skin needling can be safely repeated every 4-6 weeks until you achieve the desired results. For collagen induction we recommend to start with 3 treatments, but with a minimum separation time of 4 to 6 weeks between treatments.
Each patient has a different skin type and treatment timeline.
Most skin needling treatments take multiple sessions to truly see results. We can help guide you at your first appointment.
The procedure isn’t overly painful. There are ways to reduce your discomfort. The most common side effects are skin redness and irritation.
After your treatment some swelling and skin peeling are considered to be within the realm of normal up to 48 hours after the procedure. Other side effects, like bumps, breakouts, and dry skin, are also within the scope of what you may experience after skin needling. Not everyone will experience them.
